Murray Mower Observations
They seem friendly enough, but they don’t seem to know what’s going on. My first phone call I was told average service cost is $40-$50. When I took it in, nothing was said about the cost, it seemed very disorganized and messy. I called back about 2 days later and the conversation went something like this:
Me: “Hi, I brought my lawn mower in last week and I just wanted to call and get an estimate of how long it will take.”
Murray Mower: “2 to 3 days.”
Me: “OK, thanks.”
Click.
I hate talking on the phone so it wasn’t until afterwards I realized that they didn’t even ask my name or what mower I brought in. I just figured I must have been the only person to bring in a mower last week.
So I called back 3 days after that and asked how long it would take and how much it would cost. This time they asked what my name was and what mower I brought in. They he wrote down the info because it was time for him to leave. He called me back in the morning and said they had a microburst storm there that blew off all the tags on the mowers so they didn’t even know which one was mine until I called. So he thanked me for calling. I told him I just wanted to know how much it would cost to fix and he said he would look at it and call me back. That is where it stands now.
My wife’s grandpa, who is a lifelong Murray resident, visited my wife and I guess he noticed our lawn getting pretty shaggy. When she explained what was going on he said, “you didn’t take it to Snarr Brother did you?!” Well, after a little research, apparently we did. Snarr Bros. landscaping has virtually the same address, and Murray Mowers website links to Snar Bros. Hmph.
