I have just come across this for the first time, nice post but as said before I would give my vote to godaddy.

Because of the ebay paypal partnership I think that paypal has established itself as a leader in the b2c and c2c markets but I think its a bad thing – I want something to come along and shake things up a little, some competition

I’ve never loved clickbank so much. I’m much happier with CJ, shareasale and linkshare, where you can build sites and use the product datafeeds. Clickbank just feels like I’m selling to the same 2% of the IM niche most of the time.

Yeah, this post is a little outdated… Hostway raised their prices, so did 1&1. The savings don’t make the poor control panels worth it. I use Godaddy now for my new stuff. Every so often they send coupon codes via email. If I ever get a 30% off or something I’ll generally do a mass renewal with the discount.
