Last night’s amazing comeback by the Dodgers had me feeling a bit sorry for those Padres. It reminded me of a joke Nate Colbert once told me concerning how BAD the Padres were at the time:

Last week a guy in San Diego had two Padres tickets on the dash of his car. He reported to the police that someone had broken in and left two more.

Where has this video been hiding? Ah, what a great tribute to a great state! I can’t believe they left out Duchesne (pronounced du-shane). I was hoping to hear a reference to my home town of Roosevelt. They got a lot of smaller towns around the area. Maybe in the next version of the song right?

This morning I got the following error when clicking on an RSS feed link:

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because the protocol (feed) isn’t associated with any program.

Looking at the link, it was something like this: >a href=”feed:http://somefeelink….

I found a quick solution to make these links work and add them to my default feed reader, Mozilla Thunderbird.

In Thunderbird, go to Tools -> Options…

In the General Tab, click the checkbox to make Thunderbird your default reader for RSS feeds.

That’s it!

My daughter came home from pre-school singing a turtle song with a familiar tune. The tune came from a song I used to hear a lot back when I was in the second grade. I tried to google it to find the “official” lyrics, only to learn there seems to be no official lyrics - every version I found on the internet seemed to be noticibly different. So, I decided to post it as I remember it:
